Carrissa Rondeau, LMSW, BCBA/LBA

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Certified/Licensed Behavior Analyst  

FBS was established in 2015 by Carrissa Rondeau. Carrissa has worked in the mental health field since 2005 providing services for individuals with cognitive and emotional impairments along with their parents and families. Carrissa has extensive training and experience working with individuals with a variety of cognitive and developmental delays including Autism and Down Syndrome and their families (parents and siblings). Her years of experience working directly with individuals and families paired with the training allows her to be uniquely positioned to provide quality services to this population’s diverse needs.

Elletta Weber, BCBA/LBA

Board Certified/Licensed Behavior Analyst

Elletta Weber, born and raised in the Upper Peninsula is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst practicing in multiple facets at FBS. Elletta has experience working with children with developmental disabilities, autism, and emotional disorders. Elletta is skilled at implementing language acquisition, functional living skill acquisition, and behavior reduction programs. Elletta graduated from Northern Michigan University’s Applied Behavior Analysis Program and has since practiced in the Marquette area.

Chiara Johnson, BCBA/LBA

Board Certified/Licensed Behavior Analyst

Chiara joined the FBS team as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in December, 2018. Chiara was raised in the Marquette area and graduated from Northern Michigan University (NMU) with a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2019 . Chiara has experience with providing behavior supports with a variety of ages (children or adults), to increase pro-social behaviors and reduce problem maladaptive behaviors. She is experienced in providing services in various locations such as in home, clinic, community and school settings.  Chiara enjoys working with individuals and their families to address their needs and improve their quality of life.

Kendra Bloom, BCBA/LBA

Board Certified/Licensed Behavior Analyst

Kendra joined the FBS team a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in May 2020. Kendra was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the Manistique area, and graduated from Northern Michigan University (NMU) with a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2020. Kendra has experience with providing behavioral services across a variety of ages and settings, and has experience in the clinic, home, and the public school system. She has experience implementing language acquisition, functional living skill acquisition, and behavior reduction programs.

Leslie Kovar, LLMSW

Limited Licensed Master Social Worker

Leslie was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Masters degree in social work along with a certificate in working with combat veterans. Leslie has spent the last 5.5 years working in a nonprofit setting working one on one and facilitating group training sessions with people with disabilities. She has experience providing services to individuals with cognitive and emotional impairments, developmental delays, mental health disorders, and physical limitations. Her focus has been on building the social and employability skills her clients needed to be successful living and/or working independently. She’s worked with students and their families as well as their teachers to navigate the necessary community resources towards the client’s post-secondary education goals. She has also worked with employers to increase their knowledge and understanding of what it means to hire and work alongside people with disabilities to encourage more inclusivity in the workplace. She utilizes a strength- based approach and motivational interviewing techniques to assist her clients in working towards their goals and enjoys seeing their confidence and self-advocacy skills grow as they realize their own capabilities and potential.

Tori Pickens, RBT

Client Care Coordinator, Registered Behavior Technician

Tori joined the FBS team in February 2021 after moving to Marquette from Okinawa, Japan. Tori recently graduated from the University of Maryland Global Campus with her degree in psychology. She is continuing her education at Western Governors University, where she is working towards dual licensure in special and elementary education. Tori has spent 3+ years working with children in special education programs, and now, ABA therapy. She finds working with clients with developmental disabilities and their families extremely rewarding, and is dedicated to ensuring all clients have quality encounters.

Amy Niemi

Office Manager

Amy joined FBS in March 2021. She moved to the Upper Peninsula in 1991, from Colorado Springs, where she was raised. She’s a Montessori Directress, obtaining her degree from CU in Boulder, Colorado. She’s a former licensed in-home child care provider for over 20 years. She is also the President of Superiorland Soccer Association, a nonprofit organization she’s been volunteering with for over 20 years. Her job is to oversee the office operations, & is committed to ensuring our clients & their families experience in our office, is a positive one!

Our team consist of many Behavior Technicians. Behavior Techs help with the implementation of behavior plans for our ABA clients.
