Amy is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated from Oakland University in 2018 with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Amy provides services to preschoolers, school aged children, and parents using an eclectic range of tools and therapies that are tailored to client needs. Amy uses a child centered, hands-on approach that supports children in expressing themselves, learning new strategies, and demonstrating their understanding. Amy works with a variety of children with a diverse set of needs, including: Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Low Self Esteem, Stress, Grief, Life Transitions, Goals, Coping Skills, Emotion Recognition and Regulation, Behavior Modification, Peer Relationships, Child-Parent Relationships, Family Conflict, and more. Amy’s unconditional positive regard and warm acceptance provides a space for children to feel safe, heard, and validated, while navigating their path forward through life’s challenges.
